Biography
Malcolm was a gang member for many years until he ascended to the rank of leadership. He was a ruthless criminal who would have no doubt spent the rest of his life behind bars. A chance encounter with the Overlord however found him endowed with superhuman powers thanks to a magical crowbar. With these new abilities he upped his game in the criminal underground and took the name “Crowbar” and became a supervillain. Later he would join the Cadre a supervillian team who fought the Justice League of America. In this battle his original crowbar was destroyed and he was left powerless and jailed. After escaping prison he somehow got a replacement Crowbar by unknown means but was defeated by Lightray. He later resurfaced as a member of Dr. Polaris’ Cadre though he later turned against the leader and was defeated by the Power Company. Most recently Malcolm found himself defeated by Black Lightning when himself and Black mass tried to flee the country.
New 52

He also has a two year old daughter. In battle with Vibe he was either vaporized or teleported away from his weapon by Vibe [Justice League of America’s Vibe #5].
