Said link took us to his Facebook page where he had a picture posted of a Black Panther comic book. Now I thought nothing of it yesterday because my fanboy heart has been broken and played with so many times I’m afraid to believe anything! (I’m looking at the Romeo Miller Black Panther debacle and who can forget that Aldis Hodge rumor) recently.

Instead of going into the implications or what this could possibly mean I’ll give you a quote from Blastr
there are several ways to interpret this. Does it mean it’s not final that Black Panther has his own movie? Does it mean it’s not final that he’ll be in Avengers 2? Does it mean it’s not final that either will happen? Or does it mean it’s not final that Chestnut is involved? However you read it, it’s pretty clear that Chestnut knows something about T’Challa’s big-screen future (or he’s just really into pretending he does), and you can bet that sometime soon Marvel will either be trying to quiet him down or cooking up their own hints.
What do you guys think this means?

I forgot about Morris….I was stuck on Tyrese, Djimond and Wesley, But he could work. He is a good enough actor!
Until I see something Official, like two full blown trailers, and a slew of interviews, I will not bother to get my hopes up.
He might make an appearance in avengers two just to generate a buzz from fans to help them decide weather or not to go ahead with his own movie.
I still think that Aldis Hodge would be perfect for the role.
Djimond For Me. If Hodge lands role he’ll need to bulk up, and commit himself to a few forums of Martial Arts.
I don’t believe Marvel Comics will ever let this character shine on the silver screen. Such a shame…
Morris Chesnutt would not make a good black panther. Michael Jai White is more action oriented, physically equipped, and he’s already proved superhero worthy by portraying Spawn. Look to his films Blood an Bone, Black Dynamite, Universal Soldier, he has my vote!
Morris and Michael jai White both have that Hollywood blackpanther look but Aldiss hodge has that classic young T’Challa african feel to me. Just a few months on the weights and I bet most fans will think that T’Challa jumped right off the comic pages like Downy as tony stark.
I don’t think Morris Chestnut has that intensity needed for Black Panther. He’s more romantic comedy material. Referring back to The Brothers his moment of brooding just doesn’t give me enough to think he make a believable T’Challa. This other actor mentioned, Aldis Hodge, he was replaced as Derwin from The Game after the pilot was filmed and that doesn’t bode well. He’d have to pack on a lot of muscle as Michael Jai White is already there.
