First Look at Like Action Vixen on CW’s Arrow!

Stephen Amell posted the following picture on Twitter welcoming Megalyn Echikunwoke to the Show. This comes after the announcement that due to the success of the Vixen animated series she would continue her role in live-action form on “Arrow” season 5’s 5th episode which should hit TV on February 24, 2016 (via TV Insider).

Vixen in comics is Mari Jiwe McCabe from Zambesi Africa who is a trained Psychiatrist, supermodel, and fashion designer with the ability to mimic the powers and abilities of the animal kingdom as a member of the superhero team “The Justice League” alongside Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman.

    Apart from Storm of the X_men(Marvel) there isn;t really a black super heroine who captured the public imagination so Vixen should get her live action series!

    I like her as and actor but she really doesn’t fit the roll. Will she do a good job yes. She will, but not having a brown skin women who looks black not mix . Would have been better. I guess the BROWN PAPER BAG RULE IS IN FULL EFFECT HUH.
