Biography:

In the Earth 3470 universe, Heather Hudson was conducting and experiment using gamma rays to combat cancer cells. The experiment went wrong and Heather absorbed a lethal amount of gamma rays. Afterwards, she found out that she could transform into the Great Beast known as Sasquatch. With this new ability, she became a part of the Canadian super team known as Alpha Flight. Her initial assignment was to aid in the capture of a feral creature roaming the Canadian countryside. This turned out to be Wolverine. She was able to subdue him. She and the now tamer Wolverine stayed with the Alpha Flight team and eventually married. Wolverine went insane due to the activation of a chip, placed within his adrenal gland. In attempting to subdue him, Heather tried to reason with him. When that failed, she was forced to put him down. She was devastated from this, but was rescued from her depression by the James Hudson, who she eventually married. She would go on to lead the team. Heather was unhinged from her reality by the mysterious Timebroker, who told her that she had been picked to help fixed the broken chains of all realities. He further explained that if she didn’t help, she would be sent back to her reality, where she would be burned to death in a tragic accident. While with the Exiles, she experienced many adventures, including a reality where she was there the moment her former husband escapes from the Weapon-X program. With her teammate Morph and afraid for his life, Heather knocked Morph out and confronted Wolverine herself. She transforms into her human form which causes Wolverine to stop. She and Morph were teleported away and rejoined their teammates. While on another mission, they faced off against their counterparts, known as Weapon X. Heather was gravely injured by her teammate Magik while pushing another teammate, Nocturne, clear.  Nocturne had to possess Heather in order to transform her into Sasquatch so she could heal. While visiting a mystically empowered reality, it was revealed that Sasquatch was the Great Beast Tanaraq, and that this was the source of her powers, not gamma rays as they had thought all along. With the help of the mystical hero on the Alpha Flight team named Shaman, Tanaraq’s influence was removed from her body, and with that, she lost the ability to transform into Sasquatch. Heather now acts as mission control for the Exiles team, remaining now in the Chrystal Palace, which is the base of operations for the Exiles.
