I am freaking out right now:
Comic Book Resources just confirmed that Black Lightning will be in Young Justice Season 3/Young Justice: Outsiders. Black Lightning you will recall was on our list of 20 Black Superheroes we want in Young Justice Season 3. Now CBR has me screaming and passing out with the realization that it’s not just a hope, but a reality!
Check out the image below featuring Black Lightning/Jefferson Pierce, Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Conner Kent/Superboy and Artemis.
What leaves me even more excited is that there is now a very high probability of his daughters Thunder and Lightning making an appearance. Black Lightning fans will have allot to be happy about as the character is getting a major push from the publisher with a self-titled series set to debut in 2018 on the CW.
Young Justice: Outsiders will debut on DC’s streaming service in 2018.
Black Lightning first appeared in Black Lightning #1 in 1977. He was created by Tony Isabella and Trevor Von Eeden.
