Well it was bound to happen sooner of later. Thanks to the Mortal Kombat reboot video which lead to the Mortal Kombat Legacy web series we now have a similar trailer courtesy of Isiah Mustafa……you know the “old spice” guy. It’s a short teaser more than an actual trailer but it’s pretty obvious somebody really REALLY wants to play Luke Cage on the big screen. Speculation on the casting of this movie has popped up recently but who can tell with things of this nature. Check it out below

In Isiah’s defense though I’m not sure that he could pull of the traditional Luke Cage I could see him as a more Noir inspired Cage. Now if only someone would throw some money behind a proper Black Panther concept trailer I would get behind that 100% (cough) Michael Jai White (cough) 😉
