Big year for the Black Panther! He was king for awhile, had a battle of wits with Dr. Doom in Doomwar. His dvd got announced, he was in the new avengers cartoon written by Chris Yost, movie rumors swirled and to top it off he became the man without fear in daredevils own book! It was a damn good year to be a Black Panther fan!
Worthy of mention: Aqualad came out of the best selling brightest day, prophesied to save the world, caused a ruckus by being black with dreads in the comic while blond and blue eyed on tv. Starred in the new series young Justice and lead the damn team! But he falls short of the the breakthrough prize for being a cartoon and comic debut.
