JBDA FINAL cover

Publisher: UrbanGod Ink

Created by: NorViance Henry

1st appearance: Jellybean Dream Anthology

Nationality: African-American

Team Affiliations: Former employee of Comic House; Commander of Hawk Squadron, (Universal Alliance); several Atlanta Sports Clubs

Legal Status: Citizen of the United States with no known criminal record

Height: 5’5                   Weight: unknown to public

Eye color: hazel green    Hair color: mahogany, dyed darker sometimes black

Relatives: Rosalyn Turner (mother); Jesse Turner (father, deceased); Henry Douglas (maternal grandfather); Natalie Douglas (maternal grandmother)

Skills and abilities: Athletic and flexible (gymnast in her youth), pragmatic skills of deduction, trained and excel at combat training from an early age, both by her maternal grandfather and an unknown teacher. Resumed training at age 18 and now at 30 is one to be reckoned with. She is a skilled marksman and efficient with swords. Jelly is a cyber geek so she is capable of hacking as well, thanks to dealing with technology light years beyond Earth tech for so long now.

Powers: On Earth she is athletic and at physical peak for woman of her size. She can lift between two and three times her size due her physiology.

Dreamscape form: Coming into the height of her “strange” physiology and inherited powers the older she gets, the stronger she gets. At current time punching through a boulder is child’s play, although not recommended without gear(such as gauntlets)because she’s not invulnerable. It does however take more than a punch to stop her. Her “green flame” as she calls it, has evolved from heat to energy. It radiates from a stun blast to leveling a city block. This energy is what she uses to “ignite” or charge her specifically designed gear created by Kale (technician of Hawk Squadron), her Jellybombs, guns and her aurablade. An aurablade is a weapon created on Planet Altar, originally the scared weapons of the Knights of Altar until the culture was overtaken by the religious order known as the Legion of Robes.

Biography

Jellybean’s (or Jelly) love of fantasy and fiction has been with her for as long as she could remember. When other kids talked about their dreams she couldn’t, because she didn’t have any. Jelly had a sleep disorder growing up so she was provided an experimental prescription drug to numb her as she slept, resulting in a dreamless sleep. At age 18 her suppIy ran out, the maker died the previous year in a car crash along with her dad. Jelly’s mom was worried, remembering the episodes and ramblings from Jelly as a child before the pills. She thought Jelly would slip back into what was described as an overzealous imaginative state. Jelly wasn’t worried, so when the pills ran out she didn’t tell her, at least right away. When the effects of the prescription left Jelly’s system her life really began once finding out she is a dreamscaper. A dreamscaper is born with the ability to cross into other galaxies and dimensions while asleep. What you know now is only the beginning…….
