Biography

Born from the love/lust of black servant Selma and wealthy landowner Thomas Coram. Coram’s family would never have accepted the union so Selma grew the boy on her own. When Michael was old enough he wanted to join the army during WWII and Selma had his father swear that no harm would come to him. Because of Michael’s light skin, strong English name and ability to fake a British accent he is accepted into the army as white. During the War Michael is killed and reveals he knew Thomas was his father. Mammon showed up and offered Thomas a way to save Michael’s life. He took on Michael’s wounds and died. Michael would be slightly injured and sent home to his mother and simply walk with a limp. Thomas becomes a hellspawn.  Thus fulfilling his vow to Selma.

After the war Michael took his mother back to the USA. Michael became a musician and played jazz in the clubs of Chicago and new Orleans. In 1926 he met a girl who sang like an angel and took his breath away. Two years later they married. By the 1960’s Michael was surrounded by loving children and grandchildren. Wanda was his favorite grandchild.
