Biography

Helena Bertinelli is a member of the Spyral team, an international team which specializes in mind erosion, brainwashing, and misdirection. Their emblem is an eye in the center of a Spider-web. She first appears in Africa rescuing Dr. Thompkins they stole secrets from her mind before depositing her in Gotham [Nightwing #30, 2014].

She later personally recruits Dick Grayson the former Robin/Nightwing into their organization [Nightwing #30, 2014].

    Say what?_ I always thought Helena Bertinelli was a white Italian American (unless she has been “passing” all these years)???

    I really like that she finally got her own identity and shows a side of Sicilia we never really saw in the media before. 🙂
