Biography

Murphy was an archaeologist working in the Amazon forests of South America. Unfortunately for him his men were slaughtered by soldiers serving scientists known as “the coalition” and he was taken as a test subject. Here he was subjected to all kinds of inhumane test which culminated with the death of a tiger and himself. When he awoke he was a human tiger hybrid with memories of both, not sure if he was a human with a tiger’s memories or a tiger with a human’s memories he was left with a lack of identity. He was eventually rescued by Battlestar working for silver Sable and went on to join their team.

Along with Fin, Paladin and Sandman he would form silver Sable’s second team “The Intruders”. There most notable mission was to Somalia where a band of mutants based there fought with the US military. During the fight Lightbright joined their ranks thanks to Battlestar. Him and his team later helped stem gang violence in Los Angeles before he lost control of his more primal urges and killed criminals in New York. After he was taken down they discovered a chemical imbalance in his brain.

This was apparently fixed as he was recruited into the Avengers initiative serving with his Garison teammates policing Vermont.
