Skills and abilities: Trained U.S soldier in unarmed and armed combat as well as use of firearms.

Powers: He has the power to intensify already present atmospheric conditions and elements such as earth fire wind and water. Eg. He could transform water from a ruptured water main into a full torrential downpour from the skies. Of take electricity from a power line and create intense lightning storms. As results of his mutation he sleeps 65% of the day. When awake he is volatile, irritable, aggressive and raging.


After a series of debacle’s with the governments freedom force a team of scientist known as M-branch decided to create their own super team under a project designated X-force. The experiments yielded good results after they handpicked military operatives to undergo the treatment. Over time however the gamma and beta rays which had granted the team their powers started to kill them. Faced with certain death they rebelled against their handlers and clashed with Cloak and Dagger who eventually saved the remaining members of their team. Dagger’s light based healing powers healed them of the radiation poisoning and stabilized their powers. The team adopted new code names after this and decided to put an end to M-branch. It’s unknown what became of Tempest or if the team remains together to this day.
