We all remember the 1st and 2nd Blade films fondly

and the bad after taste of poop which was the 3rd

well apparently Mr. Snipes himself would like another crack at being a bad ass day walking vampire. Lord knows I would be willing to part with a few dollars to have a “proper” vampire movie instead of all this Twilight diamond glow Bull$h!t going around. I still think he’s perfect for the role despite everything that’s happened in his life recently.
“Acting is my main lane, and I’m planning to expand that, taking the success of films like ‘Blade’ and marinating that into something that flourishes,” he said. “Maybe we get around to doing another ‘Blade,’ except, from what I’m reading, every other actor is talking about playing him, and nobody is talking to Wesley. How strange that they don’t come and talk to me about it.“
In the age of reboots (upcoming) spiderman, X-men first class etc would you watch another Blade movie if Wesley wasn’t at the helm?

Let the master take the role. The first Blade made the argument that comic-based movies were cool and profitable.

Sorry, incomplete thought with that first post. I felt that the first Blade made a strong argument that comic-based mainstream movies of the late ’90s could be cool and enjoyable when done right. Especially in light of the later Batman films and others. Let the master play the role he made live.
