Hawkgirl is an ALIEN, not human. There is no “race swap”!!!

Of course, Hollywood, which is controlled by White and Jewish men, chooses another light skinned or racially mixed woman. Will dark skinned black women ever get respect from Hollywood? I will not be watching this show! I would encourage other blacks to boycott! Racial discrimination against real black women needs to end in Hollywood!

From the comic panels shown she has the same skin tone as the character.

I would say that in the comic panels that Hawk Girl looks much more black. I have been reading comics for a long time and comic book writers and artists are much more likely to depict dark skinned black men and black women in their work. In Hollywood movies, white and Jewish male movie directors purposely cast light skinned or mixed race women to play dark skinned characters. Halle Berry, who is half-white, never should have been cast as Storm. Storm is a dark skinned black character from Africa.

I’ll be honest I haven’t had much exposure to this version of Hawkgirl.

I have always been curious with the Hawkman / Hawkgirl mythos do they always look the same physically or are they drawn like that to give the readers a cue that it is still them?
