Zoe Saldana Discuss "Guardians of the Galaxy"

It’s been awhile since we got any news about Zoe Saldana and Guardians of the Galaxy. Luckily she spoke with The Wall Street Journal about a multitude of topics including working with director James Gunn on the set of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Here’s what she had to say:

gamora ZOE SALDANA

“James Gunn ran a tight ship and he’s a true director,” Saldana told the Wall Street Journal. “He was born for that kind of leadership. He’s an artist that has finally been given an opportunity to showcase what he can really do. I like the fact that he’s super unique. There’s only one James Gunn. … He wrote a great script and he really executed it very gracefully.”

We simply can’t wait to see Zoe kicking ass and taking names as the space-faring bad ass Gamora. Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled to be released on August 1, 2014.

Sounds good to me!

What do you think of all this?

Sound off below!

More as it breaks!
