Powers:  He has the ability to shift between a normal human form and a super powered rock like form that has superhuman strength on par with Superman, superhuman durability and uncharted energy manipulation abilities. Josiah according to Superman is one of the most powerful meta-humans he has ever witnessed.

Biography

Josiah was an openly gay top class lawyer based in Metropolis home to Superman. Some would argue he was one of the best lawyers in the world until his meta-gene was activated during the Thanagarian invasion. Because his powers manifested in court he was let go by his firm despite having no interest in being a superhero.

Working through depression and motivated by Superman he combined his knowledge and his profile as a public meta-human to create a business with partners and associates based around “Superheroes for Hire” [The Power Company: Josiah Power #1]. In his employ was black superhero Skyrocket who was one of the founding members. Over the course of their adventures though he was injured and Firestorm joined the ranks.

After recovering his company continued to flourish as he lived with his life partner Rupert. Josiah and his team were defeated by Dr. Impossible and villains using god tech from New Genisis. When they were found by the Justice League the team was much shaken when they found Josiah near death since according to Superman he was one of the most powerful Meta-humans ever.
