Biography
The T’challa grew up under his father king T’chaka the great. He was a spoiled and arrogant prince who was exiled after arguing with his king. Leaving Wakanda he made his way to America where he saved Jericho Simpson. The two formed an instant bond and became like father and son. Jericho christened him Johnny Blaze and together they made him into a world famous motorcycle star [Infinity Wars- Ghost Panther #1].
While performing his most death defying stunt he was killed. Jericho brought him back to life by invoking Zarathos, forsaken half sister of Bast. The god made him an offer to grant him power by becoming her avatar [Infinity Wars- Ghost Panther #1].
After awakening he is informed of his father’s death and journeys to Wakanda. Here he tracks down his father’s killers after realizing that the Heart Shaped herb is no more and thus his sister will never be Black Panther and by extension, the black panther line is now ended [Infinity Wars- Ghost Panther #1].
He battles M’Bakshulla but must become Zarathos avatar to survive. After ingesting the villain’s soul he is blindsided by Killraven [Infinity Wars- Ghost Panther #1].
Left for dead by Killraven he fully embraces his role as the Ghost Panther after learning about his foe’s past, his future [Infinity Wars- Ghost Panther #2]. He is still outclassed by Killraven until his father is reborn as a hellfire familiar Panther. Together they defeat Killraven and he goes on to rule Wakanda as the Ghost Panther [Infinity Wars- Ghost Panther #2].
