First look at Flash Season 2’s New Firestorm!

So while I was away this new trailer for the debut of Jason Rusch I mean Jefferson “Jax” Jackson on Cw’s his show “The Flash”. I’m wondering what the hell happened to Jason Rusch but I’m going along with it. Below you can find the official synopsis of the episode and the teaser, enjoy!

“Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team look for another Firestorm match for Dr. Stein (Victor Garber). When the team meets Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (guest star Franz Drameh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) has her reservations about whether Jax is the right match for Dr. Stein. Iris (Candice Patton) surprises Joe (Jesse L. Martin) while Barry and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) grow closer. Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode written by Kai Yu Wu & Joe Peracchio (#204).”

The “Fury of the Firestorm” episode of The Flash debuts Tuesday, October 27 at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.

What do you think ?

  1. And why does too many African-American characters have first or surnames of dead presidents? As much as I like the show some of changes are insulting.

  2. And many of the African-American characters have first or surnames of dead presidents? As much as I like the show some of changes are insulting. We have other names besides Jackson and Jefferson !

  3. I’m fine with the change, the way I see it, no production just switches actors for the hell of it, I’m sure one that Ronnie isn’t dead and will be seen again eventually and two I don’t care what the characters last name is, just happy he’s black, nice to have a black super hero that isn’t an athlete, mandingo with super strength or animal, there aren’t enough DC and Marvel heros with diversity in powers that doesn’t fall into a stereotype because the characters are written by white writers. Honestly when they introduced Jason last year he was nerdy and I thought it was poor casting, adding this new character we can see he’s going to be more edgy, which I’m fine with. You should really embrace and enjoy the minority characters we have especially on TV and movies because five years from now the audience will probably be burned out from the ten years of movies marvel has preplanned dragging stories like the Infinity Gauntlet out for almost a decade (8 years) remember when Vampires were a big deal….

  4. There’s a reason that all these reboots of traditional white characters are now black. I’m not buying that diversity crap especially from the guys who are making these decisions to do it simply because they been in those positions long enough to hav done it years ago. Why would you remake some of your most popular characters over as black knowing that it would absolutely disenfranchise your predominately white fanbase? What’s even more puzzling is that it’s white guys thats making the call to do it! Besides, as Dr. Delbert Blair once said; Remember the root word for diversity is Divert…divert from what?!? Ther are thousands of original concepts from black writers, black creators and black characters fighting for an opportunity to let their work be seen instead we get the regurgitation of the same ol,same ol…but NOW SHE/HE IS BLACK NO GAY NO LATINO NO WAIT MIXED! “Snif, snif” something’s cookn.
