Biography

The mutant known only as Carapace was a member of the Morlocks during a time after the Morlock Massacre, the great flood, the emergence of Gene Nation, after Operation Zero Tolerance when Marrow had joined the X-men. More specifically the story is set after X-Men #75, when the X-men faced the N’Gari [Wolverine #900].

Attacked by Sentinels, Carapace alongside Marrow, Ape, Poser, Matchstick Girl, Beast and Wolverine, she was injured. Despite her speed with assuming an armored form she was found wanting [Wolverine #900]. Beast had to perform surgery using Wolverine’s claws in order to remove a piece of shrapnel from her side, saving her life [Wolverine #900].

She was perhaps de-powered on M-Day and has yet to make an appearance.
