Powers

The Brooklyn Blur is a speed based paranormal with various speed related powers.  The exact limits of her speed are as yet unknown.  However, Blur has been known to easily break the sound barrier.  Additionally, by vibrating at super speeds, Blur has demonstrated seismic/vibration related abilities which have been showcased in a variety of ways.  She can also create wind vortexes comparable to tornadoes.  It is believed that she can create after images of herself, giving the appearance that she is in several places at once.  Brooklyn Blur also has an enhanced metabolic rate and healing factor.

Biography

The New York Sentry, Brooklyn Blur has relentlessly been keeping the streets of New York City safe for nearly three years, and shows no signs of slowing down.  Her decision to serve as protector of the largest, and perhaps most dangerous, city in the United States  has earned her the respect and admiration of most residents and of the nation alike.  Blur’s efforts, along with those of Black Reign and the Chicago-based hero EM, have served as the catalyst for the Neo-Superhero Movement making her the “face” of a movement that champions the violation of the MacLauchlan Act, a law prohibiting superhero vigilantism in the United States and has led to the rise of a new batch of Superheroes across the nation.  It is because of this that the Brooklyn Blur has been labeled a danger to national security, and is currently ranked 41st on the Paranormal Protection Agency’s Most Wanted List, higher than any other “crime fighter” in the country.  The “apprehension of the Brooklyn Blur” has become such a hot button item that most politicians have taken to guaranteeing it in most local, and even, national campaigns.  Fortunately, that mentality has not trickled down to the local Guardian forces in New York.  Guardian, the law enforcement branch of the PPA, has made little to no effort to apprehend Blur as she contributes greatly to the continued safety of New York City and its’ inhabitants.

 Her primary ambition is to ensure the continued safety and prosperity of New York City and it’s inhabitants.  Something she has vowed to do as long as she still draws breath.  Additionally, she wants to go down in history as one of the greatest heroes of all time.
