Biography
In a postapocalyptic wasteland populated by mutants and terrorized by flesh-eating ogres, a young amnesiac searches for the answers to the mystery of his identity. Wandering aimlessly, he comes to the rescue of Lorna, a young girl who gives him a name: Number 13. After saving the girl he is taken to her home where her father attacks and tries to kill him. Thirteen detonates and kills both.
Number 13 continues to search for answers and his creator, in a future world that’s been brought to its knees by the vicious Monstrum Morbus plague. Weakened by his last explosive encounter, Number 13 is discovered by a group of curious, scavenging mutants who have banded together for survival. They dub him “Thirteen” and invite him to join their group—and one of them knows exactly what horrible purpose he was built for!
Number 13 continues to struggle to regain his memory and the purpose of his existence, while the manipulative Mother Goose seeks to control his power. She’s not prepared for the forces of the Professor, Number 13’s sinister creator. No one is safe in the battle to control Number 13—a battle that will determine the fate of a future world.
