Reports coming in all across the web (TMZ, Yahoo etc) confirm that former Disney Star Lee Thompson Young best known for playing the titular character from 1998-2001 for three season on “The Famous Jett Jackson”. He also portrayed superhero Cyborg on Smallville before it’s cancellation and was appearing on Rizzoli & Isles as detective Barry Frost.
Lee was found dead in his apartment this morning with a “suspected” self inflicted gun shot wound.
Janet Tamaro took to twitter to confirm the sad news:
“We are all without the words to truly express our collective grief and
profound sadness at the loss of such a sweet, bright light,”
