Biography
The black rendition of nick Fury originates on earth 1610 (ultimate universe). He served along with Steve Rogers and James Howlett during WW2. he was chosen as a test subject for the experimental super soldier serum. It was successful and he gained super strength, slowed aging and a healing factor. Nowadays he the head of S.H.I.E.L.D and responsible for the forming of the Ultimates in all it’s incarnations and monitoring the x-men, Spiderman and the superhero community in general. This version of Nick was molded off the likeness of Samuel Jackson who incidentally plays him on the big screen in movies such as the Iron Man films and the upcoming Avengers film directed by Joss Whedon. He’s also appeared in the animated ultimate avengers movies.
For everyone who complains about Miles Morales being a “Black Spider-man”, or Johnny Storm being black in the upcoming FF movie reboot, or a woman Thor, Electro being played by Jamie Foxx, or any of the other changes that have happened in comic book pages and movies…
… Not one of you complained about this.
And why would you? The character has been reinvigorated, and the stories are good. Isn’t that what matters?
