What I thought
This issue we pick up immediately where the last ended with Asira in quarantined after her villainous turn in the last arc. Kasper Cole makes his triumphant return after he received his new costume in World of Wakanda’s finale. Klaw and his forces continue to attack Wakanda and Kasper, T’challa, Eden Fesi, and the Midnight Angels lead the charge. They defeat Klaw and T’challa wins back the respect of the rebellious Dora Milaje.
Asira then reveals that the X-men foe, the Adversary was behind it all and he has returned. At the same time Storm and Shuri stumble upon the villain. Zenzi takes this time to rescue Tetu.
This was an enjoyable read with highlights being playful banter between Eden and Kasper. Art was decent though it was not as strong as previous issues. Klaw has never worked for me as a villain especially not this sound wave version, I much prefer the Hudlin assassin with the transforming hand version. This was a decent issue overall though it did not wow me in the way that previous issues have.
I give this issue 3/5 stars
