Biography
Long before there was Thor, Before even Odin himself legends were told of Sigurd the ever-glorious, Asgard’s first hero. Equal to his legend as a warrior in battle were his many conquests with women. Serving under Bor, the father of Odin he met the Handmaidens of Bor; beautiful virgin warriors who belonged to Bor body and soul. He seduced the leader of the group and she fell in love with him. Going against there better judgment and despite knowing the risk he invited the group to a bar where he proceeded to have sex with their leader. Bor enraged upon finding out where his maidens where angrily slew Sigurd’s army and he fled. In his absence, the maidens were cursed by Bor to wander the world feasting on godly flesh until Sigurd either married them or they destroyed him.
He fled to earth where he took up life as a mortal. For thousands of years, he hid, becoming a legend to inspire the likes of Heimdal and Thor. He continued the life of a playboy and womanizer ever vigilant for the day he would be punished. Recently he met with Loki to secure a magical contract which would turn all Asgardians in his vicinity into humans by folding reality.
When the New Mutants including Sunfire became his neighbors he became suspicious of them and ended up using the contract when Asgard’s latest warriors, The Desir (the handmaidens under the curse) and the New mutants showed up at his house. When the spell wore off he was set to marry the Desir with Bor to officiate.
