The X-men franchise has a hot new buzz thanks to JONATHAN HICKMAN. While everyone else claims that this is the best thing to happen to the franchise since Claremont, I see things differently.
I like the buzz, but pretending that Grant Morrison’s New X-men, Joss Whedon’s Astonishing X-men, storylines like Deadly Genisis, House of M, Messiah Complex, Messiah War, Second coming, Phoenix Endsong, Utopia, Schism and Avengers vs. X-Men were not great tales full of epic action and so more emotional moments than you can shake a stick at.
