Biography
Marius was a soldier in the army in the 1800’s whose life was saved by Sandria Darque. They fell in love and managed to flee to New Orleans where she gave birth to his child. Attacked by Master Darque, Sandria used her powers to bond their child to him saving both their lives and creating a weapon to kill Darque. He became the very first in the Shadowman line and the ancestor of
Josiah Boniface, and Jack Boniface (Shadowman [2012] #10).
Years later he lived as a recluse and met Sandria while his soul was bound to Jack Boniface. After Sandria admonished him he was shot in the back of the head and left for dead. He rose from his grave and massacred his attackers [Shadowman #5 v5, 2018].
I have been impressed with this series. I actually got into it by buying a few back issues from the original series from the ’80s that went on sale on Comixology not long ago. This would make a really good movie or TV series.
