i was wondering if you had any or could find pictures of an old Steel villain Dr. Angora Lapin aka The White Rabbit. she was an arms dealer and an early adversary of Steel, i’ve been searching around the net and so far since i guess she was an obscure character there isn’t much in the way of pictures of her out there.
I’ll look into it for ya ๐
I love this website! One of my favorite black superhero was Brotherman. Check it out.

I really enjoy this website! Very informative!
I came across this website by accident just by surfing the web. It is indeed great to see a website dedicated to black comicbook superheros and villians.
From this day forth i’m a fan.
I was looking thru your gallery and noticed there were no mentions of the black members of the Legion of Super-Heroes(Tyroc,Invisble Kid II, Computo,Kid Quantum,Kid Quantum II, and Gear among others)as a Legion fan I would love to see them included.
Thanks so much for this site, we as blacks need to see ourselves in a positive superhero light. The kids need to have heroes of their own color and race. Thanks for all the information that you have on this site, i hope you keep it up as long as possible.
I support you.
Take care and have a great year. I will also subscribe to your blog.
Peace.
I love this website! I’m dressing up as Storm for the Toronto 2011 FanExpo and this was a great website for info on not only Storm but other great black super heroes. Also I love the updates on casting for black superhero movies. Just awesome! ๐
Excellent resource for people. Love the site! Working on a personal library of black superheroes and stumbled upon this site.
I was looking for reference images of Sam WIlson’s current suit and google lead me here. TREMENDOUS SITE!!
The attention to detail and the commitment to include Black characters in COMICS not just the Big Two is amazing!!
Keep up the good work and look forward to the future!

Greetings,
I wasn’t able to find the comic books hero, Blackjack (aka Arron Day) on your site. I was wondering if I missed it, or if there was a particular reason why it was not included? Thanks.
Best,
Alex Simmons
You missed it! http://worldofblackheroes.com/2012/05/31/black-jack/

Okay I’m all for superheroes “of color” just please don’t go over board with the Africanus or Blackness it rewally takes the luster out for me.
This site is awesome…!!!
I like the look of Uzan the Mighty. But where can I go to purchase it, as I have found none yet?
Can we submit in black videogame characters?
Sure blackpowajesus!
This is a nice website and a very good idea.
I like the fact that you specify “Black is a term used loosely…”, but might I suggest the use of the words ‘People of African Descent’. That’s what I teach my children. There is only one race, human.
Sites like this are so inspiring and educational, thank you to all of you that run the site. I have a little cousin whose 4 years old and he loves Spiderman so the first thing i did was buy him an Ultimate Spiderman comic. He can’t even read yet but I wanted him to see a pictures of Miles Morales and stuff and he was so happy! I look forward to showing him all the other black superheroes that exist and hopefully he will grow up feeling that he can be a superhero too. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for running such a wonderful site.
Did you ever get any pics of The White Rabbit?
Peace WOBH!
I published a graphic novel over a year ago with Amazon Kindle. Main character is black.
So far, it is receiving a decent response. Can I share my Silent Sillo blog with you?
To give you a rundown on artwork and a mini read. Please let me know how to better my reach. Or how to get Silent Sillo recognized by
World Of Black Heroes?
Are we able to send you cosplay pics of us dressed as a superhero/villan/anime chatacter or do you take them in person?
Sure are! Just email them!
Love the site! Our heroes need to be known. With that said I’ve recently released the first trade for my series. Would it be okay to send it over for review?

Please add “Lothar of the Seven Nations.” He first appeared in Feature Book No. 19 in 1938 to assist Mandrake the Magician. Lothar, the invincible man who can lift an elephant with one hand, gave up ruling kingdoms in Africa to fight crime along side Mandrake the Magician. Note the date, 1938, the very same year as Action Comics No. 1. Lothar may very well be the first African-American superhero.
hey i sent you guys a email for a interview its for samurai shin
Under Blacks in Gaming, you left out Balrog and Dee Jay from Street Fighter. Since you included the likes of Elena and Sean, then I guess you would include Balrog and Dee Jay. Thank you for the sight and keep up the great work.

Hellow World of Black Heros
My name is Edward Russell, Jr and I am in the process of writing my first comic book universe. My comic book and hero stories cover African American, Native Americans , Pacific Natives, Asian, and Latino / Hispanic characters. One of my favorite comic characters is the marvel black panther and I’m in the process of creating my own cat themed heros and villians. I admire that you make comics thats showcase African American and Black culture characters. So far I have created super soilders, Ninjas, cybernetic enchanced soilders, mutants, and highly skilled individuals. I would like to talk to some from your company to help get some of my charactets reviewed and possibly published.
Thank you !
I talk about Tribe by Stroman and Johnson and put a link to one of your articles on my new blog at http://www.michaeldavidares.com/2018/02/16/the-black-panther-of-comics/.

Hello,
I found this site on Pinterest and I am wondering if you are still functioning and producing stories. If so, please inform because I have a story I think would entertain readers. I have been working on it for some time and have completed it. I have started on my line work and still working on it. I would like to know how you go about your business and could assist me on my project if you find it something worth backing.
I am a 3D animator and graphic designer, I’ve been drawing since I was 5 and completely dedicated to this project. I hope to hear from someone in your organization soon.
Be well,

So I need your help. There was an old Spider-Man story line/comic book issue where there was young black boy who pictured Spider man as being black man under the mask. I know it was written in the 80’s or 90’s prior to Miles Morales. In the end they even show an unmasked Spider-man as being black. Do you know what issue this was?
I noticed that Marvel’s Brother Voodoo is missing from your list. He was always a favorite of mine.
Hey Dwellyn! You missed him! He’s under Doctor Voodoo….http://worldofblackheroes.com/2011/09/06/doctor-voodoo-jericho-drumm/ ๐
Hi just wanted to say, I stumbled across this page just now and its really sick that you have this website up, showing black superheroes and villains alike. Too many people are too quick to deem this racist but they themselves do nothing to encourage inclusion of everyone else. Some of these heroes and villains I’ve never even heard of so its nice to see this. We are not given enough representation and when we do things like this, it is always rebuffed. I’ve loved cartoons and comics from a young age but didnt ever see enough people that looked like me. This is very much necessary. Keep Going!
This collection is amazing!
Is Crackshot from the Liberty Project by Eclipse Comics on here? I just picked up issue 1 and discovered him.

Hey, I just discovered this site…looks great!!! I’m so hype!!!
Sounds sooo dope! ๐ค
I would love to invite you to an event for Caribbean Heritage Month.
Would love to….after this Covid 9 outbreak.
Love the website! Was wondering if you have read Black Hammer? Two pretty cool African-American heroes in that.
I will definatley check it out when I get the chance.
Hi,
I was wondering if you knew anything about the “Black” Vampirella or what her 1st appearance is? I saw her on some of Christopher Priest new run starting with #8 and also for the newly coming Sacred Six. I tried to research is but still not a clear name on the character. I did find info on someone named Kelly Witton, but it looks old. So wasn’t sure if that was her. BTW, your website is awesome! Love it! Q.
Hi, about support black characters, donยดt forget about Trevor Barnes, a black boyfriend Wonder Woman had once, and a question… favorite interracial relationships from DC and Marvel?
Hey guys,
Great to know that not only am I a celebrity chef, but also a comic book character, amazing!
Kindest regards,
Theodore Chana.
Um…I did forget Trevor Barnes…
You know my favorite interracial couple is Luke Cage and Jessica Jones
For DC its Thunder and Lightning or Mr. Terrific and Power Girl ๐
So I’m republishing a book I wrote a while ago, with a black main superhero. Just wanted to know how you guys work. I’m very interested. Didn’t know of this group or site.
Awesome Wes! Glad you found us!
I love this site. Very comprehensive. I noticed an exclusion. I just finished reading the Squadron Supreme limited series from Marvel Comics that came out in the 80s. There was a villain named Foxfire. She was part of the Institute of Evil and was recruited into the Squadron. https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Olivia_Underwood_(Earth-712)
I have been searching for black superheroes wall decals and it seems they are very hard to locate or there isnโt any out there, all I run across is heroes such as; Spider-Man,Batman, avengers, ect.ect. No black superhero wall decals.
I was hoping Iโll would of seen any for black history month.
I think itโs long overdue and about time we can put our black superheroโs on our walls
If there are any out there and you can be some help to locate any, please let me know.
Thank you for your feedback
Renee
How can I write an article on your page?

a link to to an historic discussion about a book on Black Cartoonists.
Buy Black, by Blacks. ONLI STUDIOS leads in publishing and promoting since 1981. Its your dream vs the Mainstream!
A Graphic Novels collection should be as real, raw and diverse as music and cuisine. Not limited to a few major brands and players.
Agreed!
Thanks Turtel!
