Alvin Bundy was born in the ghettos of Washington D.C. He joined a street gang early on and grew to become a well-known O.G. He entered the military and was originally going to become a dental assistant but was switch to Special Forces once his training began. He was called “Doc” Bundy in the streets because of his educated speech and dental assistant background, but adopted the name Amalgam. He set up shop in an old Dental Clinic and started dealing small quantities of portable BG80’s; better known as Toastmasters. When Steel returned back to D.C. on a mission to destroy all the technology he made a Amertek which made its way on the street, he targeted Almalgam’s operation which he learned about from a member of the gang his nephew was a member of. Amalgam holds Steel’s nephew and questions him about his uncle, just then Steel busts in. Steel and Amalgam battle, but Amalgam is easily defeated and arrested, but not before he manages to kill the gang member who gave Steel the information about the Toastmasters. He is bailed out by Amertek lawyers, and given an altered version of the drug Tar to give to some of his crew to attack the funeral of the slain gang member and also attack Steel’s family.
