Asafa Powell (Born November 23rd 1982) is a Jamaican born 100 Meters Sprinter most notable for holding two world records in the 100 meters between June 2005 and May 2008, with times of 9.77 and 9.74 seconds respectively. He’s also famous for breaking the ten second barrier more than any other runner in history, under performing at major events and dating beauty queen Yendi Phillips.
