Powers
Kwame was chosen by the sword Excalibur to be the next person it would allow to wield it. The center crystal near Excalibur’s hilt is really a sentient alien weapons system that allows Kwame to access the tremendous energies from a micro galaxy giving him access to a number of energy-based powers (akin to the Silver Surfer’s power cosmic) they also include opening and closing portals, energy shields, absorption and a wide array of power bolts. The energies that Kwame utilizes are quite dangerous and could burn his body out that is why in battle he is wearing specialized armor, formed by nanites generated by Excalibur. The suit carries with it an array of offensive and defensive capabilities including information gathering view nanite spies, flight, and grenade launchers.
Biography
Kwame Hightower was your average everyday kid from the Northside of St. Louis, MO. Living in London, England with his mom Kwame is having a hard time adjusting to his new home. After getting into a fight with his mom, she takes Kwame on a tour of Buckingham Palace to help him gain an appreciation for his new surroundings. Things don’t go as planned as a group of mercs, the Roman Brothers, kidnaps Kwame and Deidre’s tour group. They all eventually find themselves in a hidden chamber where the Royal Family has hidden the legendary sword Excalibur. Kwame ends up drawing Excalibur from the stone in order to defeat the Romans but that leads to a much bigger problem. Since he is the only person that was able to draw the sword from the stone, he automatically becomes the king of England! With no recourse, Kwame embarks on harrowing adventure after harrowing adventure in hopes that one day he will be able to free himself of his bond to the legendary sword!
