Biography
Carmen Maria Cruz is a High school student and member of the mutant obsessed teens who has used technology to mimic the powers of the X-men. She is styled after Gambit. Carmen was once seen with her friends asking for Forge’s autograph.
She later appeared fighting Tremolo of the Hell’s Belles. After the battle, she and her team were questioned by the X-Men about why they had not come to Krakoa. After explaining that they could not come to Krakoa just yet, she and the team quickly escaped using Daycrawler’s powers. That night the team went to a Gateway to come to Krakoa but were unable to pass through.
After it was revealed that she was the only true mutant on the team, she was personally invited to the Hellfire Gala by Storm. She attended the Hellfire Gala and met Eye-Boy and Mystique. Carmen is a lesbian currently dating her teammate ‘Buddy’/Cyclops-Lass.
