Jordan Calloway’s Painkiller will get a backdoor pilot for a spinoff of The CW’s Black Lightning during its fourth season.
According to Deadline, Painkiller will star in a planned spinoff episode of Black Lightning Season 4, with Salim Akil serving as writer, executive producer, and director of the pilot.
I’m indifferent to the news honestly, Calloway is easy on the eyes and his character was upgraded to a series regular for Season 2 but what would the premise of this spinoff be exactly?

I hope it works out because I never complain when we secure the bag and more black superheroes/villains in any capacity is always welcome.
