According to Deadline, grown-ish star Yara Shahidi will star as Peter’s (Alexander Molony) fairy friend. Along with Molony, she joins a cast that includes Ever Anderson as Wendy and Jude Law as Captain Hook. David Lowery will direct and co-write the script along with Toby Halbrooks. While the film was rumored to debut on Disney+, it seems that the House of Mouse has opted for a theatrical release.
Peter Pan and Wendy is directed by David Lowery, the director of previous Disney remake Pete’s Dragon, and co-written by Lowery and Toby Halbrooks. It stars Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson, Jude Law and Yara Shahidi. The film has yet to receive an official release date.
