WHEN DID THE X–MEN GET SIDEKICKS?!
Now! Don’t miss the debut of the greatest teenage super hero team of all time! They’ve learned from the best, now they’re ready to be put to the test! But who the heck are these kids, and where do they come from? Guest-starring the X–Men!
Marvel has released the following statement:
“The mystery surrounding CHILDREN OF THE ATOM will finally be answered when the previously announced series by writer Vita Ayala and artist Bernard Chang debuts this January. As the latest title to explore the new era of mutant-kind following Jonathan Hickman’s House of X, CHILDREN OF THE ATOM will introduce a brand-new team of young X-Men characters. Inspired by their favorite mutants, these gifted youngsters will keep both the X-Men and fans guessing about who they are and where they came from. More than just mere sidekicks, the cast of CHILDREN OF THE ATOM will have a major impact on the world of the X-Men when they burst onto the scene next year!”
I have been excited about this series for a minute, mostly because I think at least one of, or all of these teen mutants are products of Sinister’s chimera project.
Black mutants other than Storm, Monet, Prodigy, Bishop, or Gateway sure as hell are not getting a chance to shine so I will take any black mutant I can get.
