Biography
Kayla Tate is a teenage girl, with enhanced athletic powers (running, jumping, reflexes) that she is trying to keep secret, out of fear that she will be taken away and experimented on. Kayla acquired her powers when she stole a meteor fragment that her parents were working on in the lab a month after THE EVENT.
She begins to get acquainted with her powers after embarking on a mission to rescue her parents from Alberto Gomez, a Foresight agent who has been experimenting on enhanced teenagers for personal gain.
After Jonah (COSMOSIS) is captured, Kayla joins forces with Corinna and Jonah’s father, Jack Watkins, to find her parents and Jonah as well as take down Gomez’s rogue Foresight operation. During her time as a freedom fighter, she meets a young man named Cipher and begins to develop feelings for him. Unfortunately, Cipher betrays Kayla and the rebels as he is a secret Foresight agent working under Lorena.
