Biography
Knightblade/Misty Brooks is the amalgam of Blade and Misty Knight.
Misty was a black OPS member of the army in Afghanistan. She was the very best in her unit, after hearing of strange things in a nearby cave. Despite protest she went into the cave and was bitten by a vampire. Before the infection could spread her arm was amputated. She spent the night alone then stepped into the light [Secret Warps: Ghost Panther Annual #1, 2019].
Her squad found her and the US intelligence division was thrilled, she had all the powers of a vampire but none of the weaknesses [Secret Warps: Ghost Panther Annual #1, 2019].
She was given a new day job and a new mission along with a new bionic arm [Secret Warps: Ghost Panther Annual #1, 2019].
Years later she attacked Ghost Panther in a church and used him as bait to lure out the unread. After the battle she professed to being attracted to him [Secret Warps: Ghost Panther Annual #1, 2019].
