So today we got even more info revealed about Fox’s Gotham this time we have a few actors appearing in the pilot being promoted to series regulars. One of those people is Andrew Stewart-Jones who will appear as Crispus Allen. Andrew is not a house hold name but is best known for appearing in It’s Complicated (2009), Dead Man Down(2013) and Mr. Popper’s Penguins (2011) according to IMDb. Crispus Allen BH fans will remember becomes the host of god’s vengeance the Specter pre-52. Considering where the source material eventually goes, will Gotham stay in the gritty reality realm or perhaps eventually veer off into the fantasy aspects like CW’s Arrow? Only time will tell but it would be pretty damn cool to see the Spectre appear in this series.
Other series regulars include Cory Michael Smith, who plays Edward Nygma and Victoria Cartagena who plays Renee Montoya. Gotham will air on Monday evening’s at 8 pm starting in the fall.

More as it breaks!
Crispus Allen? The Spectre? If I wasn’t already in, I’d be in. #DCComicsForTheWin
This is an interesting and unexpected development.I am intrigued ( and more hopeful)
Me and you both Jim!
I find that I a really hoping they will get it right and give us some thing new and interesting . Bringing the supernatural into the mix via the Spectre might be that first step( or second ,if you consider the Jada Pinkett-Smith character’s implied mutant /supernatural ability to “read” people)
This might even inspire my to get cable back.
This definitely raised my eyebrows.
