Powers: He has superhuman speed, allowing him to move and perceive things faster than a normal human being. He can also produce a blinding light from his mask, it was never clear if this came from him or the suit itself.

Biography

Bill Carver was a District Attorney (D.A) who came into contention with the criminal Thunderbolt organization. He tried to take them down through the courts but they retaliated by trying to assassinate him but instead they killed his younger brother. At his brother’s funeral the assassin tried once again to kill him but failed. This time the two were locked in a struggle when they were both him by a lightning bolt. The assassin died instantly but he survived long enough to undergo experimental treatment that stabilized his body’s new bio electric field. This granted him superhuman speed.

He took the name Thunderbolt and sought revenge. Bill would both battle and team up with Luke Cage during this time. It was later discovered that Big Ben Donovan was responsible for the hit and his unstable powers were also accelerating his age. In a climatic showdown he struggled with Donovan who’s gun apparently went off shooting him. Thunderbolt died in peace knowing justice had been served. He disintegrated into dust as Donovan was taken to jail.
