Biography

Born into royalty around 1000 B.C in Egypt this Princess was betrothed to Prince Sallah since her birth. Right before their wedding, Raquel discovered Sallah having an affair with a cat goddess named Bastet. She warned Sallah of the consequences for mingling with the Gods, but he ignored her. Raquel became desperate and prayed to Anubis to stop him. Anubis directed Raquel to a cave that was holding the Witchblade.

Once their she bonded with the living weapon. This allowed her to trap Bastet’s soul in a statue. However, Sallah had been given immortality by Bastet and became enraged with Raquel for what she had done. He then killed her with his bare hands.
