Biography
Eric kukoyi is the vessel for fear itself as such he does not age or sleep, by day he serves as a lecturer at the university of lagos Nigeria teaching human psychology, a psychiatrist and parapsychology expert as well by night eric becomes “fear itself” an entity that rules the shadows strikes fear in the hearts of any being in its path. Eru is fear itself although how this entity came into being is a mystery it has the ability to jump from host to host along the bloodline of the first vessel and has done so for thousands of years and has been called by various names, it retains the memory of each experience in each vessel so it has a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the arcane arts. Eru has vast illusory capabilities that can full all the five senses, he is also a sort of god like figure of a mysterious shadow realm as stated in issue 3 whether this realm is an illusion or a reality is yet to be seen, he possess a soul taking sword called marun fojusi ida translated as five eyed sword which has been known to cut through flesh disintegrating it this sword has can shift into another form known as meta oba meaning three kings a soul sucking or spirit draining serpentine blade but apparently will need a certain amount of time to do so, he approaches most of his deeds with a certain arrogance possibly due to his nature of being fear itself and not having to worry about getting killed or something like wise, in issue 3 Eric has stated he has been fear for two decades and as a result has possibly become a bit jaded when it comes to protecting the innocent, as he struggles between the narratives with the need to act .
