  2. I did not know about Ms. Auberts role as a super hero I will check it out
    Thank you for the link.
As to what I do beyond comics .
    (Not counting my job)
I have have a personal writing project my stories going with pictures I have commission , which soaks up a lot of time ( This state of affairs is not helped by my procrastinative nature and the fact that I am a very slow typist – One of my only two regrets in life is that I never leaned to type in high school). Plus I often fall in to the habit of writing obsessively long comment for postings at various deviant art sites
I am flattered at your invite to do a review and I would like to try but I do not want to fall even further behind on the other projects .Plus I am not sure that I could do a proper review .
I have done reviews for my fave comic ( The FEM Force / A C Comics ) but they are obsessively long and detailed and take forever
How about instead of a formal review i just go about the aspect of a comic that I find most interesting ( eg -X Men #17 Kymera walks away from her mother and severs all meaningful ties with her . Once again Storm is denied having any kind of a family or emotional life where- Jubilee (the white character) gets to keep her baby . Or New Avengers #21 in which T’challa finally does the right thing and does not destroy the encroaching world .This action costs him dearly ( assuming his dead father is capable of disinheriting him) – But T’challa has taken difficult and unpopular stands before ( He stood up to the Panther God , he destroyed all the vibranium in Wkanda ) and I am really glad to see him finally standing up for what is right here ( I like to think Ororo would be proud of him- but that is another story ) Though speaking personally I would have very much preferred that the character said he Would not rather than Could destroy the other world . Also I like that T’challa shows himself to a wise and thought ful person who pointedly does not see the world in terms of black and white
How does that kind of a “review” sound to you?
Thank you again for such a great site and all the excellent material you share with us.
