Biography

 In an alternate timeline where the confederate states of America won their independence Kate Williams fell in love with a white man who became a superhero after turning against his country. She also took up the Captain Confederacy mantle alongside her lover and attended a conference in free Louisiana where she helped thwart villains along with the other gathered superheroes. It was here she was revealed as pregnant yet still carried herself well in battle.

  2. Funny thing is, this comic had a little mainstream awareness. in 2006. when a woman who had a son. bought a three pack comic that had an issue of captain confederacy in it, and no one says anything then? it just got a little local news. just my two cent?

  3. I thought the series was great. loved Kate & Kid Dixie. and oh yes, its still in my collection.

  4. Yeah…I think the people reacting might be basing their reaction solely on what is said here, it isn’t the best description. The whole thing is available online (except issue #10,”Driving North” I can’t find, which is a shame) for free on the authors blog…the author even posted one of the death-threats he got.
    People should check it out, before they react.
