Biography

Nikki Wood was a relatively normal girl before she was “called/empowered” and became the slayer. She was assigned to watcher Bernard Crowley. At the same time she was trained as a slayer in armed and unarmed combat she dated an NYPD officer named Li. After she became pregnant Li was killed by an ancient vampire. In retribution she hunted him down but he managed to escape while she battled one of his newly made vampires. Still pregnant she was subjected to “the test” on her eighteenth birthday where she was drugged to strip her of her powers and forced to face a vampire. Overpowered and on the verge of death she overcame her foe because of her desire to save her unborn son.  Later she gave birth to Robin Wood the only known offspring of a slayer. Along with her watcher she trained him in everything she knew. Around this time she first met and battled the vampire Spike though he escaped in a very close fight. Days later Spike found her in a New York subway car during which Spike killed her and kept her trench coat as a trophy. Her son Robin would grow up in the care of her watcher Bernard Crowley.

Notes:

– Ms. Wood is one of the oldest recorded slayers besides Buffy.

-She is the only known slayer to have had a child

-Nikki is the 2nd “Black” slayer to be introduced in the series after Kendra

– Her fighting style is reminiscent of Buffy according to Spike.

-Nikki was portrayed by actress K.D Aubert
